Donations

Thank you for considering making a gift to Feline Welfare on the Isle of Wight.

Our main expenditure is on veterinary fees, food and cat litter. As these are ongoing we need to constantly boost our funds so we are able to make ends meet. Not always an easy task !

We are always on the look out for bric-a-brac, books, unwanted gifts etc. for our many fund raising stalls. We also offer at least two raffles a year so are always looking for prizes for these. Please see the contact us page if you wish to donate any items.

We are a dedicated Rescue Centre made up entirely of volunteers. Every penny goes to benefit the cats in our care and we do not believe in unnecessary frills !

Our other main priority is the special neutering / spaying scheme we run with the RSPCA Animal Home at Godshill, IOW. We help low income families to have their cats or kittens neutered / spayed and microchipped if they so wish. All this is done at very affordable prices. This scheme has a knock on effect of controlling numbers on the Isle of Wight and that in turn helps reduce the cruelty figures in our area, which has to be beneficial to all concerned.

We receive no government funding. We rely entirely on donations and proceeds from our fundraising stalls enabling us to carry out our work; rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming our feline friends as well as our all important neutering program.
