‘Poppie’s’ short little life was sadly taken from her on the evening of Wednesday 6th. July. 2011. She was hit by a car which ended her life in seconds. I am MOST grateful to the kind people who stopped the traffic when the accident happened and took ‘Poppie’ off the road and laid her on the grass. Corinne saw what had happened and brought ‘Poppie’ back home to me.
‘Poppie’ started her little life as a feral kitten – her mother had been abandoned by uncaring owners and she was forced to have her babies outside. ’Bella’ brought them to light when they were about 6 weeks old, and when we were made aware of the situation we trapped all 4 kittens and of course bought ‘Mum’ into the safety of our care also. Because the kittens remained nervous of strangers Lin and Al took the two boys and ‘Poppie’ and ‘Pixie’ became permanent residents at ‘Bo-Jangles.’
‘Poppie’ was a dear and will be very sadly missed.
