‘Willow’ and ‘Lillie’ were feral when they came into our care. ‘Poppie,’ their Mum had obviously been abandoned, as we advertised extensively in the area, and checked all the lost and found registers to no avail. She chose a very safe place for her kittens under some decking in a garden of an empty house, so by the time they ventured out at about 8 weeks of age they had not come into contact with people at all.
They still remain weary of people they don’t know, but have settled in really well with Jenny, Ken and family, and of course their other 6 feline friends ( 4 of which are ex Feline Welfare residents, 2 were also feral initially!! ) A VERY happy conclusion to their very sad start in life. Ferals make delightful pets, Jenny and family are amongst the very few people willing to give them a chance of a loving home FOR LIFE.
