‘Twinkle’ our little ‘Star’

‘Twinkle’ turned up in Claire and Roger’s garden – she was emaciated, dirty, flea and worm infested and her coat was matted. We have no idea where she came from, but we presume she had been living in the area, but where the owner is I doubt we

When I went to collect ‘Twinkle’ Claire was sitting with her in their chalet – the heating was on and this dear little cat was in ecstasy !! We took ‘Twinkle’ to our Vet almost straight away as we were very concerned about her poor condition, she actually weighed less than 2 kg !! Even though she was so poor her character was amazing, and still is !!

‘Twinkle’ has blossomed – she has doubled her body weight, her coat is now clean and flea free and she just enjoys life !! She is probably well into her teens – and even though she has a heart defect it doesn’t seem to be affecting her adversely at the moment. The knots in her fur are now gone and she has a lovely soft, silky coat – a very different picture than when she first turned up.

‘Twinkle’ has Claire and Roger to thank for her rescue – if they had ignored her, like others had obviously done, her story would have been quite different, in fact her little life would probably have ended by now – but instead she is one very happy and contented little girl, and we sincerely hope she will enjoy several years yet. ‘Twinkle’ is staying here with us now, she is settled and happy and gets on well with our other feline residents. HOME AT LAST ‘TWINKLE’ and very dearly loved by all who are lucky enough to know you.
